How WWW works.

A launchpad where every coin belongs to a website, and the website's owner gets the fees.

What WWW is

Anyone can launch a pump.fun coin for any website. The coin is tied to the website's registrable domain (example.com, not www.example.com/blog), and there is exactly one coin per website. The first launch wins.

The launcher earns nothing from it. 80% of the coin's creator fees wait in an escrow for whoever owns the domain. The owner claims by proving they control it, with no X account and no signup.

The split

The fee-sharing config is written on chain at launch and checked after every launch. It can't be changed later.

Owner of the website (escrow until claimed)80%
Buys back and burns the coin10%
Buys back and burns $WWW10%
The launcher0%

Until $WWW launches, its 10% is held in the platform vault for $WWW buybacks and never spent on anything else. 50% of $WWW's own fees buy back $WWW.

Launching

From X

Post @UseWWWFun $TICKER example.com anywhere on X. Or reply @UseWWWFun $TICKER under a post that links a website: the bot uses the post's first link (links to X itself are skipped). Add a name after the ticker if you want one; without it, $HAT becomes Hat.

The bot replies in the thread with the coin. Every reply it posts is public on the wire.

From this site

Open Launch, type the domain, a ticker and a name (nothing is filled in for you) and sign two transactions in your wallet: the pump.fun create with an optional dev buy, then the fee-share setup with a 0.01 SOL escrow setup and a 0.02 SOL launch fee.

Launcher rules

  • Your X account is linked to a wallet once, is at least 90 days old and has at least 50 followers.
  • Three launches a day per X account.
  • Launches that touch tragedies, minors or hate go to a person at the desk first.

Claiming a website

  1. Connect the wallet you want paid and open Claim.
  2. Type your domain. You get a code like WWW-7KQ2MX, tied to that wallet and that domain, valid for 72 hours.
  3. Publish it one of two ways: a DNS TXT record wwwlaunch-verify=WWW-7KQ2MX on the domain itself or on _wwwlaunch.yourdomain.com, or a plain text file at https://yourdomain.com/.well-known/wwwlaunch.txt containing that line.
  4. Press Check. WWW asks Cloudflare and Google DNS-over-HTTPS, then reads the file over https (no redirects to other hosts). Then claim.

Everything waiting is paid to your wallet, and every later fee is forwarded as it arrives. A verification counts for 7 days; check again if you want to change the payout wallet later. You can also claim before any coin exists: future coins start paying you from their first trade.

Prefer no coin at all? A verified owner can opt out (fees burn instead) and block future coins for the domain.

Unclaimed fees

If nobody claims within 90 days of launch, the escrow switches to burn mode: it buys back the coin with what waited and burns every token, on every keeper run, until the owner claims.

Custody and memos

Escrows and buyback vaults are keeper wallets with encrypted keys, allowlisted and capped transactions. Every transaction carries a memo you can look up on chain:

  • www:v1:launch:<coin>, www:v1:claim:<coin>, www:v1:forward:<coin>:<n>
  • www:v1:buyback|burn:<coin>:<n> (unclaimed escrows), www:v1:coin-buyback|coin-burn:<coin>:<n> (the 10%)
  • www:v1:platform-buyback|platform-burn:<n> ($WWW)

Questions

Is a coin endorsed by the website?

No. Every coin page says it is not affiliated with the website unless its owner claims. Launchers must not imply otherwise.

Why can't I upload a logo?

Website logos belong to their owners. Every coin gets a WWW address card of its domain instead.

Can a subdomain have its own coin?

Only where the public suffix list says the subdomain is its own site (someone.github.io is; blog.example.com is example.com).

Memecoins can go to zero. Nothing here is financial advice. Not affiliated with X Corp. or pump.fun.
